Summary of Bidding Procedures (inquire further with Moecker Realty or Special Magistrate Mark Healy for full complete instructions):
The Special Magistrate shall sell the Property by public auction in Courtroom 9A of the Sam M. Gibbons United States Courthouse, 801 North Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida, on a date and time to be announced by the Special Magistrate. The auction is scheduled for July 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
The auction shall be an “absolute” auction and an “as is” sale of the Property, subject to all liens, claims and encumbrances. Bidding shall be opened at a minimum bid of $500,000.00 and shall proceed with minimum bidding increments of $10,000.00.
To be eligible to bid, at least five (5) days before the auction, all interested bidders, including the parties, shall submit to the Special Magistrate written proof of funds in an amount equal to $20,000,000.00 and an initial deposit by certified or cashier’s check drawn on a bank in the United States or wire transfer the sum of $1,000,000.00 (the “Initial Deposit”), which sum shall be nonrefundable until a refund is permitted under Paragraph 3(g) below or further order of the Court . The Initial Deposit shall be held in an escrow account by Moecker Realty, Inc. (“Escrow Agent”).
